Select the Catalog section of the control panel and then click the Subscription Plans tab. Click on the Create Plan button in the upper right corner.
You will be taken to the plan creation page, where you need to fill in a number of fields with the required data.
If you want to customize the ID, toggle the switch and fill in the field that appears.
Select the product for which the plan will be created from the drop-down list.
Fill in the fields with the name. Note that the fields may vary and only the external name will be reflected in the Customer Portal.
Optionally fill in the description of this plan.
You can also optionally fill in unlimited tag fields. These fields will be reflected in the Customer Portal as plan components. Based on this information, the customer will be able to choose the plan that best suits their needs in terms of features.
If this plan should not be reflected in the Portal, check the corresponding box.
Click Create to complete the plan creation.
To start using the plan, go to its card by clicking on its name and set at least one price for it.
Please note that we have separated the process of creating a new subscription plan and setting prices for it. This is due to the pricing flexibility of the system, as prices for each plan can be set in multiple currencies and payment frequencies. Simply open the created plan and set the desired price or prices.
Select the currency and frequency you are interested in and click Set Price.
Please note that all added currencies and frequencies are represented in the list for setting the price. You can complete these items in the Settings – Configure section.
In the price card as well as for the plan itself, optionally add Custom Id and be sure to fill in both lines with Name.
The next toggle switches on the Trial Period settings, which will start the subscription of the customer who selects this plan at the given price and frequency. Toggle the switch and in the lines that appear, set the length of the trial period.
Next, define the pricing model for the plan – whether it will be a flat fee or the final price will depend on the quantity.
Enter the plan price in the selected currency. Please note that you can create a free plan by setting the price to 0 in this field.
Finally, specify whether the plan will be valid forever or only for a limited number of billing cycles. For the second option, specify the number of these cycles in the line that appears.
Finally click Create. Your new Plan is ready to be used in your customers’ subscriptions.
