Creating the Addon item #
In the Products tab, select the desired one and, by clicking on the three dots and then the Create Addon button, proceed to create a recurring Plan Addon.
The Product Family row in the Addon creation card is already filled in.
For your convenience in defining the item, set a Custom ID for the addon by toggling the switch and entering the desired character combination in the line that appears.
Fill in the name within the system.
Fill in the name that will be used in the Customer Portal.
Optionally fill in the description of this additional service or product.
If you do not want this addon to be used in the Portal, check the box.
Finally, click Create.
Next, be sure to go to the card of the created Addon to set at least one price.
Please note that currencies and frequencies are customizable under Settings – Configure in the corresponding tabs.
Select the currency and frequency you need for this addon and go to the price creation card by clicking Set Price.
As well as for the addon itself, fill in the Names and optionally set a Custom ID.
Determine the pricing model – whether the price will depend on the quantity of the service or product provided.
And enter the price (for Per Unit, this is the price per 1 unit).
Complete the creation again by clicking on the Create button.
Viewing the Addon item #
If you want to view addons that belong to a specific product family of interest, you can do so by clicking View Addons in the product row.
You will see all addons in a table format directly in the Addons tab. From here you can edit them, set prices and manage the reflection in the Portal.
