The Rainex Customer Portal Coming Soon

We are happy to announce that the development of the Customer Portal is in full swing and by two weeks we will be ready to provide enhanced functionality for your users. No more integrations, no more unnecessary development and its maintenance on your part. Rainex will give you the opportunity to create your Customer Portal, customize it to your processes and product and set payment rules for your customers. 

 

Since creating a Customer Portal is a rather complex and time-consuming feature, we decided to break it into several iterations. This allowed us to speed up and simplify the development. That’s why we are ready to show you the finished first iteration of the Customer Portal.

 

So here’s what’s ready now and what you can see and feel with us.

Registration / Authorization (email | token/cookies)

We’ve created a registration page for your users. You no longer need to develop and maintain your own registration page on your website. Now you can do it through our Customer Portal (of course with full page branding by adding logo, favicon and making the page into your branded color). An easy and simple registration flow, taken from best practices, will allow your customer to quickly complete registration and make a purchase. It is important to note that once registration is complete, this customer is automatically created in your Rainex account. If this user was previously created in Rainex, all subscriptions and invoices will be displayed in the Customer Portal after registration.

At the moment in this section, the user will have the ability to see the current subscriptions that have been created in your Rainex account and pay for them. By the end of November, the functionality will expand significantly, opening up the ability to onboard and create subscriptions from the Customer Portal. Now this is a top priority.

Invoices to Pay page

Here the user will be able to see all their invoices, their statuses, pay unpaid invoices and download the PDF version of the document if necessary. Everything is easy, clear and transparent.

Rates page

On this page your customer will have pricing plans displayed. You can configure the name of the plan, its content, cost and frequency in your Rainex account.

Addons page

Now the display of addons for your pricing plans is already implemented. In it, the user can familiarize themselves with all addons, their content and cost.

Nowadays, when almost every person spends 6-8 hours on their smartphone, it is extremely important to give your customer a convenient mobile application. That is why we have paid special attention to the mobile version of the Customer Portal.

 

 

Now your customer, after registering on your site, will be able to appreciate the convenience and simplicity of work in Your! Customer Portal.

Second iteration. What we are actively working on now and what will be ready in 2 weeks:

  1. Clear and simple Onboarding for your customers.

  2. Creating a subscription from the Customer Portal.

  3. Adding a payment method to activate an autopayment.

  4. Editing billing information to display it in invoices and calculate taxes.

Expanding the functionality of the Customer Portal. December 2023:

  1. Advanced customization of the Customer Portal in your Rainex account: customizing languages, payment frequency, currency, and more. 
  2. Sending customized emails.
  3. Changing pricing plans, allowing customers to upgrade or downgrade their pricing plan. 
  4. Ability to change password and email for your customers.

At the moment, the development is going exactly according to our plan in terms of functionality and timing. You just have to wait quite a bit and your interaction with customers will reach a fundamentally new level. 

We have already prepared all the necessary information for a full-fledged launch of the Customer Portal. Familiarize yourself with the User Agreement that protects your users and is upfront about potential issues.

 

We will also soon be providing you with detailed customer documentation that you can use to make it easier for your customers to get started with the Portal.
